Brief Description of Class Notes Wiki
A class notes wiki is a form of “knowledge base” wiki. This form of wiki is, in effect, creating a handbook or textbook about the subject area which the pupils are learning at a particular time. This type of wiki can be used as a means of recording notes and information about the topics that need to be covered in the syllabus and can be constantly modified to suit new information and changing emphases of the curriculum at any time. Once the pupils have "completed" a classroom notes wiki they may download it as an easily printable PDF file for their own use. Of course these class notes wikis may not end when a class group is finished with them but they may be modified and changed an infinite number of times and be used by an infinite number of class groups, and best of all they can be created and maintained by your pupils themselves.
